Please read the information we leave at your door. Some applications should be watered in right away and others should not be watered for at least a day.

Best Time:
Very early morning watering is ideal. Midday watering when the weather is hot and dry can waste water due to excessive evaporation. Evening watering lends to promote disease problems. Keep in mind the key to effective watering is to give your lawn enough moisture to reach the deep roots of the grass plants.

Sharp Blade:
Making sure your rotary mower blade is sharp is probably the single most important requirement for proper mowing. A dull blade rips and shreds the grass instead of cutting it. Mowing with a dull edge makes the grass susceptible to several problems -- such as brown leaf tips, diseases, and insects. A good guideline for blade sharpening is to sharpen your rotary mower blade once each month. Try it! You'll really notice the difference.

One More Tip:
During the summer months, its a good idea to water your lawn the day before you mow and then try to mow during the coolest part of the day. This minimizes the browning effect of summer mowing and decreases the time it takes the turf to heal. Mow your lawn as it needs it. Never remove more than one-third of the leaf blade at any one time.

Any time grassy weeds are treated expect a 50-65% weed reduction. However, yellow spots will appear in 3 to 4 days. Proper watering and mowing will return color within 2 to 3 weeks.

What to Expect:

Your SUPER GRASS Specialist will inspect your lawn, and tailor a feeding program to meet your lawn’s needs. If you use a liquid lawn service, you get what your neighbors get, regardless if your lawn needs it or not. At SUPER GRASS, we use a granular method of application – enabling our specialists to apply only the necessary materials, at the right time. Although our specialists will be varying treatments occasionally, they will be following the basic SUPER GRASS PROGRAM, outlined on the following page.

Granular Or Liquid:

SUPER GRASS’ granular system offers many advantages over liquid spray methods. Liquid fertilizers tend to stick to the leaf’s service, making them more prone to breakdown by the elements. Just mowing will remove most of what you’ve paid for. SUPER GRASS’ granules get down into the roots, where they are needed. Our granules act like tiny “time capsules,” feeding your lawn gradually and evenly, ridding your lawn of weeds and bugs continuously.

We don’t Give Weeds A Chance

SUPER GRASS will apply pre-emergent control to prevent crabgrass before it appears. We also guarantee control over dandelions, thistles and 40 other broadleaf weeds. Our specialists use different weed controls to cover the varying conditions of each lawn.
By applying a pre-emergent control, we can eliminate unwanted weeds and grasses before they appear. One application will clean up around fences, parking lots, walkways, trees and hard to mow areas.

Aeration – Your Option

SUPER GRASS offers an optional aeration service done at your request. Foot traffic, clay soils and heavy thatch can choke a lawn to death. Aeration loosens the soil, and allows air, moisture and fertilizers to get to the roots where they belong. Aeration will allow SUPER GRASS granules to reach their optimum effectiveness.

Your lawn should be the least of your worries. With SUPER GRASS, you’ll never have to worry about when to treat your lawn or what products to use. We automatically schedule your lawn to receive properly timed treatments, throughout the season and again the following year, unless you advise us to discontinue. You don’t even have to be home when your SUPER GRASS Specialists treats your lawn, he’ll simply leave an invoice at your door, advising you of what applied, along with any comments and recommendations he might have about your lawn.
